Seminars/Workshops were held on the Social Teaching of the Church: cf. Compendium of the Social Doctrine of the Catholic Church, published by the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace (Vaticana 2004). Particular attention is paid to the promotion and application of evangelical values, especially with regard to the dignity and sanctity of life from the very moment of conception, and issues related to Justice and Peace.
Twice yearly visits are made to each parish by a member of the PACO.
In addition mention should be made of day retreats for youth and laity, youth festivals, a variety of seminars/workshops, including the Social Teaching of the Church, and the bookshop, now open near to the cathedral in Adigrat, and where books and religious articles are on sale.
